Rowley is seeking a talented Digital Graphic Designer with experience balancing forward-thinking creativity and project management skills to join our team. This position requires flexible graphic design sensibilities and the ability to bring those designs to life across our digital platforms.

This is the perfect role if you love design and have an obsessive attention to detail with a strong eye for composition, typography, color, layout, and photography. You are comfortable with concepting designs, have a strong work ethic, and take ownership of your work. You can work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with a heavy focus on digital, ability to implement your designs, and ensure that deadlines are met to project specifications, on time and on cost.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with team members, marketing management and outside agencies to develop, refine and execute a variety of engaging digital and print marketing solutions.
  • Ensure consistency of brands and creative across customer touch points.
  • Create, manage, and produce digital design assets including websites, landing pages, banners, emails, social media graphics, videos, product images, and SEM ads.
  • Support e-commerce site needs, including developing design wireframes, layered image files, and image mapping for visual product configurators, and maintaining various areas on the site such as inspiration galleries, banners, product images, and more.
  • Manage, optimize, and archive all creative assets in the image library.
  • Design and produce, as well as help support other team members’ traditional marketing projects including tradeshow booth materials, brochures, catalogs, ads, price lists, signage, and more.
  • Assist in administrative duties as needed, such as supporting tradeshows, internal company events, editing / proofreading catalogs, and web materials, as well as ordering and inspecting product samples for photo shoots, tradeshows, and sales.

  • Ensures accuracy of all projects: delivering on not just what is requested but offering alternative creative solutions as well.
  • Can express the design rationale clearly to both clients and account teams.
  • Accountable for on-time deliverables and flags issues related to timelines or conflicting feedback.
  • Self-monitor work to adhere to and deliver on expectations.
  • Asks questions and knows when to involve a manager.
  • Takes direction and constructive criticism, reflects feedback in work.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • At least 2 to 5 years of experience in a graphic design environment with in-house creative.
  • Proficiency required in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, and Dynamic Media.
  • Proficiency required in HTML5 and CSS.
  • Experience designing for web (knowing the difference between UI and UX).
  • Experience in mobile-first design (logos, layouts, wireframes, images, banners, color schemes).
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute design initiatives from concept through completion.
  • Excellent understanding of image optimization for web.
  • Must be goal-oriented, flexible, and creative under pressure and willing to learn new systems.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and be open to receiving feedback for improvement.
  • Must have a strong digital portfolio demonstrating proficiency in various design styles and techniques that reflects a clean, refined, and fresh design style.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently without close supervision.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in marketing automation platforms, ex: Adobe Marketo Engage.
  • Experience working in e-commerce platforms, ex. Adobe Commerce / Magento Enterprise.
  • General familiarity with web, video, and multimedia tools.
  • Experience with cross-media publishing systems, ex: Adobe Dynamic Media Classic.
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent.
