Position: Production Associate

The production associate will be preforming a variety of assembly tasks. Mounting precut fabric on to rollers, hemming/sealing ends with proper equipment, clutching and final inspection of product according to company guide lines: Material handling: Running assorted machinery

Major Areas of Responsibility

Must be able to read, write, add, multiply, count
Must be able to read a tape measure
Must possess enough confidence to stand on your own when handling problems
Must be willing to ask for assistance when needed
Must be able to take constructive criticism
Must be able to keep work area clean and be aware of a safe work environment
Must be flexible in job functions as needed
Must be able and willing to cross-train to other areas as needed
Will frequently perform repetitive motions
Be able to frequently lift shades
Be able to lift up to 75lbs with assistance
May frequently perform repetitive motions of standing, walking and lifting
Will require use of power tools

Must take pride in workmanship
Attention to detail
Read and follow work order
Able to work in a non-temperature controlled environment
Effective communication/comprehension skills - verbal and written
Must be able to work well with others as a team as well as work independently
Must be able to comprehend and perform all work assignments accurately
Math Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
Basic warehouse and inventory skills
Willingness to work and learn new things

Physical Demands / Work Environment

Ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, climb ladders, lift materials up to 75 lbs. with assistance move materials using a pallet jack
Must be able to report to work during specified work hours
Requires continuous standing and walking and may frequently perform repetitive motions
Able to work in a non-temperature controlled environment
